STEM
Under the guidelines of Ontario curriculum, our programs aim to challenge and excite highly-motivated students from grades 1 through 12 in various areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Led by certified teachers, experienced engineers, and university students in the STEM fields, students explore a variety STEM topics and work on a range of projects.
Ms. Jaffri
Ifrah Jaffri is a passionate educator with a bachelo's degree in engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, and a master's degree in applied sciences in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. With almost 10 years of STEM teaching experience, she is dedicated to inspiring young minds, particularly girls, to pursue coding and STEM-related careers. Recognizing the lack of structured computer science education in elementary schools, Ifrah embarked on a mission to create an easy, visual way of learning the subject.
Her motivation came from observing her young cousins' disinterest in technology-related topics. She hopes that by providing an engaging curriculum, she can encourage more children to embrace computer science and engineering. Through her work, she aspires to bridge the gender gap in STEM fields and promote diversity. Ifrah's dual expertise in engineering and education makes her a unique advocate for empowering the next generation of problem solvers and innovators. Her dedication to promoting gender equality and fostering a love for technology has earned her recognition as an exceptional educator and inspiring role model. Ultimately, Ifrah's goal is to contribute to a future generation of skilled professionals in STEM, shaping a brighter and more inclusive future for the world.
